JOB DESCRIPTION: The Pharmacists of UVMMC Outpatient Pharmacies serve outpatient medication needs by compounding and dispensing medication according to prescription orders, screening for and addressing medication related problems, counseling patients and health care professionals on the proper use of medication, and maintaining good business practices to ensure success of company within the mission of UVMMC. EDUCATION: Pharmacy Degree from ACPE accredited college of pharmacy (five-year B.S. or Pharm. D.), Certifications: Licensed and registered to practice pharmacy in Vermont. EXPERIENCE: One year minimum retail pharmacy within past 5 years, one year minimum experience in a health system pharmacy.Equivalent alternate pharmacy experience is acceptable.

Salary: $16.00- $26.00 SUMMARY Pay Ranges $16.00 - $19.00/hr. - interns. Pay Range: $26/hr. - graduate interns. All work performed will be under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to gain practical experience in how to meet the needs of patients and pharmacy business. This position is for a full-time (0.9 FTE, 72 hours per 2 week pay period) night shift pharmacist, 7 nights on/7 nights off, or equivalent schedule. Special benefits of the Night Lead role: Higher base salary in the pay range above the regular/rotating-shift Pharmacist position. Night shift hourly differential applied on top of base salary to any night hours, after 11pm until end of shift: weekday night +$6/hour, weekend night +$9.50/hour. Eligibility for the Night Hours Incentive Program: a quarterly lump sum payment of 3.0% of total gross wages earned for all night shift hours during the quarter.
