Our Assistant Teacher position is primarily responsible for assisting with student instruction and behavioral supports in the Minnick Schools - a system of private day schools for students with special needs. We are looking for motivated individuals that desire to affect positive change in young people's lives through daily classroom and community-based instruction. MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, REQUIREMENTS AND PREREQUISITES High School diploma/ GED with minimum of one year's experience in working with students who receive special education services, mental health and/or other direct services. Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office. Valid Virginia Drivers' License and proof of insurance if assigned driver. Satisfactory Driving Record.
