Private Chef role with a high profile small family based half the year in New Jersey! This is a small family of healthy, clean eaters who are open to all cuisines and enjoy high quality organic ingredients, sourced from local farms and suppliers whenever possible. Preferences/allergies are limited, but gluten free is essential. The chef is focused on lunch and dinner for the family, with snacks for travel days. Of note, they are happy for the chef to cook what they feel is freshest in-season as this individual is doing daily grocery shopping and will have their pulse on the market. This is a full time year-round position with a schedule that involves flexibility and significant pre-planned travel. Entertaining is generally with notice and limited to a small scale (3-4 guests). Larger scale events of a dozen guests are once or twice a year and with plenty of notice.
