Senior Research Consultant Salary in Washington, DC

Report findings to clients and/or participate in business development activities.

Lead internal and client meetings necessary for the success of each project.

Manage post-award activities for the Department including tracking expenditures, effort and budget variances while also assisting investigators and staff to maintain compliance and sponsor expectations.

Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.

Required Qualifications Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a quantitative field including but not limited to statistics, computer science/data mining, operations research, or mathematics Demonstrated aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to present analytics effectively to the leadership, team members and customers Experience in computational programming such as R/Python/Scala Experience using databases and writing complex queries involving various joins, aggregation functions, sub queries, update/alter tables and creating volatile tables Deep understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques and experience in applying predictive analytics to real-world problems.

Assist to define goals/objectives of matter, develop investigative strategies and determine research parameters.

Monitor emerging technology and market trends in all manufacturing sectors.

Provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products or services.

Demonstrates intermediate ability and knowledge of database principles, data profiling, statistics and data modeling and can apply this knowledge in the full range of typical situations with minimal or no guidance.
