About Highlands Fire Department
Highlands Fire Department is made up of 49 volunteer firefighters and 22 paid EMS personnel of dedicated men and women that pride themselves on serving the residents of Highlands, Texas. We staff a fire crew most of the time 24 hours a day and also serve the community 24 hours daily with part time paid ambulance crews. We also crew a second ambulance Sunday thru Saturday each week from 6 am to 6 p
