The Opportunity

Picture this: A determined student arrives in the UK, navigating the maze of immigration policies, and instead of being overwhelmed, he turns this challenge into a thriving business. This is the story of our founder, who saw an opportunity where others saw obstacles, and from that vision, our company was born. As we've grown, so too has our ambition. We’re now poised to expand beyond UK immigration law, exploring new frontiers in various areas of legal practice and Global Immigration, and we need a Senior HR Professional to join us on this exciting journey.

This role isn’t just about filling an HR function; it’s about becoming a key part of our leadership team, driving the people strategy that will support our ambitious growth across multiple legal sectors. If you’re passionate about creating a workplace where every team member can excel, and you have the strategic vision to lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.

What Does the Company Need from its Senior HR Professional?

Policy Leadership: You will draft, review, and update our HR policies and procedures, ensuring they remain not just compliant, but also reflective of our innovative and forward-thinking culture. Your expertise will be critical as we expand into new legal areas, ensuring we’re prepared for the challenges and opportunities that come with growth.

Recruitment Excellence: You’ll oversee and manage recruitment across all departments, ensuring we attract top talent that aligns with our values and vision, whether in immigration law or other emerging areas of practice. Your proactive approach will ensure we’re always ready to meet the demands of our expanding business.

Employee Integration: Ensure the seamless integration of new employees and leadership, fostering collaboration and shared purpose within the organisation. As we diversify, your work will be key in maintaining the strong, collaborative culture that has driven our success.

HR Administration: Oversee all administrative HR tasks, from onboarding to offboarding, job descriptions to compliance processes. Your attention to detail will ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our overall business goals across various legal disciplines.

Strategic Talent Management: Provide strategic input on talent mapping, skills development and DEI strategy. Your insights will ensure we’re not just filling roles, but building a team that’s poised to drive our success across multiple areas of law.

Employee Engagement & Development: You’ll be the driving force behind initiatives that enhance employee engagement, development, retention, and recognition. Your efforts will create a work environment where people feel valued and motivated to do their best work, no matter which legal area they’re contributing to.

Risk Management & Conflict Resolution: Manage risks and resolve conflicts in a way that upholds our company values and maintains a positive, productive workplace. Your ability to navigate complex situations will be vital to our ongoing success as we diversify.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Contribute to the business by making informed, data-driven decisions that support our growth and strategic objectives. You’ll be an asset, not just a cost, to the business, with clear KPIs that demonstrate your impact across our expanding portfolio.

Core Values That Drive Us

At the heart of everything we do are three core values that define our company culture and guide our daily actions:

  1. Growth Mindset: We believe in continuous learning and improvement. As a company, we never settle for the status quo—we strive to progress, innovate, and grow in all aspects of our business.
  2. Go the Extra Mile: Excellence is our standard. We encourage every team member to go beyond the ordinary, take initiative, and ensure that tasks are not only completed but completed exceptionally well.
  3. Care: Our clients and colleagues are at the centre of what we do. We provide value, quality, and understanding in every interaction, ensuring that we make a positive impact on those we serve and work with.

As our Senior HR Professional, you’ll be a steward of these values, fostering a culture where they are lived out daily.

What Kind of Person Might See This as a Good Fit?

Experienced HR Leader: You bring a wealth of experience in HR, with a strong track record of success in both strategic and operational roles. You’re not just an HR professional; you’re a leader who understands the importance of aligning HR with business goals, especially as we diversify into new legal areas. Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is beneficial but not mandatory.

Strategic Thinker: You’re always looking ahead, planning for the future, and ensuring our HR strategies align with our ambitious growth plans. You understand the big picture, but you’re also not afraid to dive into the details when needed.

Detail-Oriented & Organised: You manage multiple tasks with ease, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Your organisational skills are top-notch, and you pride yourself on your ability to get things done.

Strong Communicator: You’re a clear and effective communicator, able to engage with employees at all levels and foster an open, transparent, and collaborative culture. You’re as comfortable discussing strategy with the leadership team as you are handling day-to-day HR queries.

Results-Driven: You’re motivated by clear KPIs and a well-defined job description. You’re focused on adding value to the business, and you understand that your role is about driving growth, not just managing processes.

Adaptable & Flexible: You thrive in a dynamic environment where change is the only constant. Your ability to adapt and remain flexible will be key to your success in this role, especially as we expand into new legal sectors.

Values-Driven Professional: You embody our core values—a growth mindset, going the extra mile, and a caring nature. These aren’t just words to you; they guide everything you do.

What’s in it for You?

  • Part-Time Flexibility: Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with a part-time role that’s ideally suited for someone looking to contribute three days a week.
  • Competitive Compensation: Pro-rata salary range of £33k to £48k per annum for three days a week, equivalent to £55k to £80k per annum on a full-time basis, reflecting your experience and the value you bring to the organisation.
  • Strategic Impact: Be part of a leadership team where your voice is heard, and your decisions shape the future of the company. This is your chance to make a real difference as we explore new areas of legal practice.
  • Professional Growth: Lead the HR function in a rapidly growing company, where your strategic input will have a direct impact on our success across multiple legal sectors.
