ABL 1 Touch are a market leading vehicle repair business since 1994, working in partnership with insurance companies. ABL 1 Touch prides itself not only in the quality of its work but in providing excellent customer service.

As we continue to grow, ABL 1 Touch are looking to recruit a Car Valeter to join their Team based in Croydon.

As a Car Valeter, you will ensure that all vehicles have completed the repair process and prior to being returned to the customer have been valeted to the highest possible standards.

Responsibilities of a Car Valeter will include:

• Appraise the vehicle on completion
• Manage inventory and reorder supplies when needed
• Ensuring that all vehicles are valeted to the highest possible standards
• Provide a prompt and professional service
• Spot checking with estimators, engineers, and paint technicians to ensure the repair is being carried out as required on the job card
• Ensure that all accident-related works are carried out in accordance with Company processes, methods, and job card

Skills and experience required as a Car Valeter:

• Knowledge on basic vehicle layout and function
• Understanding and experience of valeting vehicles and workshop etiquette
• Understanding of the processes of repair and the contents of a job card
• Capability of negotiating in an effective and courteous manner with suppliers
• Are a pro-active and customer focused individual
• Have great communication, interpersonal, team and working skills
• Are well organised and able to work to deadlines
• Have the ability to show ownership for workload
• Possess excellent attention to detail skills
• Are a team player with a can do attitude
