Job Title: Systems Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Stevenage (Relocation package available)


Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically, 4 days per week on-site due to workload classification.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK National with British citizenship required.

Restrictions related to nationality and work rights may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by our Personnel Security Team.


The Opportunity

We are seeking a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Systems Engineer to join our innovative team. At our company, we push the boundaries of traditional missile testing, using cutting-edge real-time simulations to closely replicate the conditions of actual missile firings.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and run complex simulations, working closely with sub-system designers.
  • Conduct experiments to assess missile performance, identifying opportunities for performance enhancement across a range of scenarios.
  • Help refine and improve our real-time testing methods, playing a key role in optimising system behaviour and accuracy.


What We're Looking for from You

We’re looking for someone with a broad engineering background and experience in some or all of the following areas:

  • System performance analysis
  • Interface debugging and system integration
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Experience in testing sensors or other sub-systems
  • Working knowledge of microcontrollers (e.g., Raspberry Pi)
