Transport Administrator to join our Logistics team based at our Brackley site.
As
Transport Administrator you’ll be working
Monday to Friday 09.00 - 15.00 / 17.00
Purpose Of The Role:
As a
Transport Administrator you’ll assist in the running of a legally compliant Transport operation. Working with suppliers to ensure all necessary documentation and data is received in a timely manner. Administration of the Transport operation.
What will your key responsibilities as Transport Administrator include?
- Ensuring all legal documents are recorded, checked and filed accordingly
- Retrieving vehicle documents from various systems and chasing suppliers for up to date information
- Inputting data and documentation on to bespoke software, ensuring corresponding visual information is updated in the office
- Working closely with the Fleet Co-ordinator and Section Managers to ensure we are operating compliantly
- Compiling license check data
- Inputting driver annual leave information on to on-line systems
- Ensuring on-site contractors operate with work permits, and subsequent filing of the permits
- Maintain and update fleet database
What You’ll Need To Be Successful:
- Good standard of IT skills, preferably word and excel
- Must have attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective organisation skills.
