About The Role
AXA Global Healthcare are looking for a Risk Business Partner to support managers and areas across the business, ensuring delivery of an effective risk management system. Supporting the Operational Risk Manager, you'll work closely with the business to implement solutions, by providing expert advice and opinion on risk impacts.
At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning you can predominantly work from home, with occasional travel to our office in Tunbridge Wells for meetings with your team.
What you'll be doing:
- Support implementation and maintenance of an effective risk management system
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships in order to work closely to assess and manage risks associated with activities
- Monitor and report on risk performance, providing recommendations for improvements
- Provide appropriate training to ensure relevant people are equipped with the knowledge and understanding to allow them to discharge their risk related responsibilities
- Support the identification, management and implementation of AGH Group Policy and AXA Group Standards
- To provide risk advice to project working groups
- Conduct internal control assessments to identify areas of improvement and mitigate potential risks, reviewing and testing procedures
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to provide assurance on the effectiveness of controls and identify opportunities for improvement
- Track and monitor risk incidents within the business
- Root cause analysis of key trends and themes across incidents, with recommendations for improvement

About You
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant experience working within a regulated financial services firm with a significant level of involvement in delivery of a risk management function
- Capable of understanding and assimilating complex information quickly and accurately
- Ability to develop strong professional relationships, with strong influencing and communication skills, with an ability to challenge both tactfully and in a value adding way
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Awareness of the financial services industry and the regulatory context within which it operates (health insurance industry preferred but not essential)
- Self-driven and proactive
- Proven and effective report writing and written skills
