What We Do.
We’re the market leader in the UK fresh prepared food industry - supplying meals, salads, desserts, pizza and bread to leading grocery retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.
About The Role.
This newly created role leads on implementing the I&D strategy across Bakkavor bringing focus to our Inclusion and Diversity agenda as part of the role you will:
- Actively contribute to the development of an Inclusion and Diversity strategy, and lead on implementing a plan that delivers the agreed strategic objectives and priorities across Bakkavor
- Influence key stakeholders to support delivery of the plan - especially in HR (inc Early Careers), Finance, IT, Manufacturing, Engineering and ESG
- Develop and manage benchmarks and KPIs that measure the impact of our I&D plans - use an evidence-based approach to focus efforts and prioritise work
- Ensure our performance management practices and progression routes are inclusive and accessible, working closely with HR Business Partners and Talent/Learning teams
- Celebrate our workforce diversity and support leaders in recognising the importance of caring for their teams so all colleagues feel safe, valued and included
About You.
You will have previous experience creating an I&D agenda and implementing I&D programmes of work to drive meaningful change.
- Proven experience of creating and I&D agenda, and implementing I&D programmes of work
- good listening skills - you need to be curious about all the diverse perspectives across our business
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and gain consensus
- Experience working with data, analytics and metrics
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and an interest in good practice to ensure Bakkavor is on the front foot as new policies and ideas emerge
- Change management and project management experience
