About The Role
To manage and co-ordinate the back office notice processing and customer service aspects of the Parking Service, including taking the lead role in the notice processing operation of PCNs issued throughout the PCN lifecycle. The postholder will lead on the day to day management of the internal resource and the external service provider delivering the services in accordance with all contractual obligations. The postholder will also be responsible for the clienting of the Assisted Travel service (Blue Badge and Disabled Persons Freedom Pass), which is currently delivered by Capita as part of the Council’s Customer Support Group contract. The postholder will also be responsible for the management of customer service requests, including formal complaints, FOI, SARs and Local Government Ombudsman enquiries and that these are dealt with in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation. The postholder will line manage three direct reports and have wider management responsibility for a team of nine.

About You

You will be responsible for managing the notice processing team and take the lead on the day to day management of the external service provider delivering the services in accordance with all contractual obligations.
You will also client the Assisted Travel service (Blue Badge and Disabled Persons Freedom Pass), which is currently delivered by Capita as part of the Council’s Customer Support Group contract.
