Based at our Hull Site, we have vacancies on the weekly rotating shift

Monday to Friday 6:00am to 14:00pm then Monday to Thursday 14:00pm to 22:00pm

Friday 13:00pm - 21:00pm

The purpose of these roles is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. Specific tasks could include:

• Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item
• Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
• Operate Saws and Laser machines.
• Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks and cranes.
• Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
• Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

Essential Skills for the role:

• The successful candidate will have experience as a Warehouse Operative but doesn’t have to necessarily be in the Steel Industry as training will be given.
• Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Fork-Lift, Side-loader, and overhead crane experience is desirable but not essential.
• Health & Safety awareness.
• Driving Licence is essential
