Job Title: Lettings Administrator

Reports to: Director

Main purpose of the job

To ensure we meet our obligations for all managed and let only properties liaising with tenants and landlords in a timely manner to ensure we deliver a top-class customer service as a top performing letting agency.

Job Summary

To be a contact for landlords and tenants relating to maintenance matters. This role is fundamental to the successful running of the business and therefore a key position.

You will be responsible for taking, recording, and progressing reports of maintenance. You will be expected to communicate with the tenants, landlords and contractors ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner.

  • Answer the phones, deal with enquiries, work in collaboration with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the office.
  • Instruct contractors to carry out maintenance works. Ensure Tenants, Landlords and

Contractors are kept up to date.

  • Ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
  • Actively look for contractors to join our approved list and to manage them using a contractor framework.

New Business generation

  • Being an ambassador of the business when dealing with contractors and landlords.

Any other duties

  • Actively participate in our team meetings.
  • Work cooperatively with all team members to support the achievement of a top performing agency ensuring the achievement of identified goals and objectives.
  • Complete internal and external correspondence, reports, letters, emails and other documents and distribute them as directed and in a timely manner.
  • Understand and adhere to all Agency policies and procedures.

You must possess the following skills:

Excellent communication skills.

The ability to multitask and work on your own initiative.

You will require excellent organisational skills.

This is a busy role you will need to be a quick learner and able to use computer packages. All training will be provided.

Job Type: Part-time 12 hours a week

Schedule:

  • Saturdays 9am -1pm, Mondays 10am – 2pm and Tuesdays 10am – 2pm

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Crewe, CW2 6DF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Administrative: 1 year (required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £21,899.00-£22,616.00 per year

Expected hours: 12 per week
