Bartender

We are looking for a bar staff to Join our vibrant team at Brewgels in Brixton Village. We specialise in Belgian beers are are looking for someone who has a passion for beer, customer service and someone who is able to innovate and create bespoke gin drinks etc as well as help with coffees and food running on the weekends. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and top-notch service to our valued guests. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision and flair
- Interact with customers and be confident with craft beers. Ability to help with recommendations and having the ability to upsell snacks and repeat drinks.
- Maintain a spotless environment and demonstrate organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Demonstrate proficiency in mixing drinks such a gins, bloody Marys, pouring pints, and have a strong understanding of Belgian beers
- Collaborate with the team to uphold high service standards and contribute to a positive work environment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including responsible alcohol service practices

Requirements:
- Prior experience in bartending or hospitality is preferred
- Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions and inventory management
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and work well within a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
