Responsibilities
As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our care home. You will work closely with all departments to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents. This position involves a variety of tasks, ranging from assisting with hospitality and maintenance to contributing to the overall cleanliness and organisation of the Home.
Ideal candidate
Companionship: Foster positive relationships with residents, providing companionship and emotional support.
Housekeeping: Contribute to the cleanliness and tidiness of resident rooms and common areas.
Meal Assistance: Support residents during meal times, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
Activities: Participate in and facilitate recreational activities to promote social engagement among residents.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the care team.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the care team, nurses, and other staff to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
