They are now seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to develop and implement Frog Bikes supply chain strategy and manage the team who will have full accountability for all aspects of this area.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of all aspects of the Supply Chain strategy to meet business objectives. The strategy will include buying the products, supplier management, control of inventory, logistics of inbound and outbound products, commercial analysis.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Leading, supporting and developing the team to deliver the strategy for all aspects of the Supply Chain; Buyers, Planners, Inventory Control and Warehouse.
- Ensuring that the environmental and sustainability strategy is imbedded into all third parties.
- Drive the reduction of costs.
- Evaluate the success of strategy and update as necessary.
- Work cross functionally with other parts of the business including Production, Quality Control, Finance and Operations.
- Implement the use of NetSuite Oracle for as many of the Supply Chain processes as possible including tracking, ordering etc.
- Work with Finance and Sales to link forecasted demand with supply plans.
- Maintain minimum inventory.
In addition to the above duties, the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances to support the business, but which may not alter the general character or level of responsibility of the post.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- To be Commercially Aware demonstrating a keen understanding of the role and impact of the supply chain in the achievement of wider business objectives.
- Relationship building skills to maintain and grow sustainable relationships within supply chain and to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Commercially astute: able to spot and develop commercial opportunities with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Resilient with the ability to think correctly under pressure.
- Strategic mindset with risk identification/management, critical thinking, analytical, fact-based decision-making, problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex supply chain issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
- Be personally effective with strong planning and prioritisation skills
- Full UK driving license
Experience Required
- Expertise in supplier management rebates and understanding of growth incentives.
- Experience of leading, managing and developing supply chain teams.
- Proven ability of dealing with ambiguity.
- Track record of success in implementing strategy
- Negotiation skills to effectively represent Frog Bikes and seek mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Proficient with IT including good working knowledge of Microsoft tools, Google tools and use of ERP
An interest and knowledge in cycling would be beneficial but not essential
