Shifts For Street Cleansers

• 06:00 to 14:00
• 07:00 to 16:00
  
  

Pay

• From £11.44 per hour
• if you have a driving licence £12.26
• Paid weekly
  
  

Main Duties Of a Street Cleaner

• To cleanse the streets, town centres, industrial areas and parks within the Borough of litter, weeds, .detritus and fly-tipped material and other works associated with the street cleansing service.
• To sweep and litter-pick in town centre areas aided by a dedicated street cleansing barrow, as required.
• Collect bulky waste items as required. This will include driving occasionally.
• Follow work schedules and complete all check sheets as required, including vehicle and waste transfer checklist
• Able to work under pressure
• Have good teamwork
• Follow the health and safety policy, which includes wearing PPE and uniform.
• Perform duties in a safe and courteous manner, remembering at all times that you are an ambassador for the company
• Maintain and take responsibility for your equipment, which includes daily checks and cleaning your equipment, when appropriate.
• Adhere to written work instructions at all times.
