Accounts Assistant

Here at PH Water & Air Technologies we’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team based in Farnborough. Due to an increased workload within the Accounts team, we are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join and support the existing team. The successful candidate will report directly to the financial controller.

What we offer:

We’re looking to offer a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition:

• Working hours 9am-5pm.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Maintain all aspects of Accounts Receivable through to month-end reconciliation and all aspects of the credit control function incorporating debt-collection, chasing debt by telephone and email and reduce debtor days. Process and generate all reminder letters and monthly statements.
• Investigating debtor transactions and balances. Reporting any discrepancies. And investigating and resolving customer queries
• Maintain the sales ledger function incorporating, invoicing, statements, cash-allocation and all monthly reconciliations.
• Carbon Net Zero reporting and other ad hoc tasks and reports as and when required

Experience required for the role:

• Be able to work under pressure and have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Sage.
• Work to monthly and annual collection targets
• Create journal entries to correct discrepancies, and reconciliation of control accounts
