Position: Project Manager
Location: Milton Keynes/ Hybrid Working
Salary: £60-65k basic plus benefit package (inc. bonus).
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to join our PMO function.
Working within a team of 2 Senior PMs, you will work closely with other business functions, including Client Engagement, Sales and technical delivery, to ensure a first-class project experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Highly experienced in an external IT Project Management role.
- Prince 2 Practitioner Certified
- Experienced in the management of enterprise-scale clients with a global footprint.
- Experienced in the delivery of projects spanning different countries and of values above £500K
- Experienced in the delivery of projects focused on Infrastructure, Data Centre, Storage, and Network-related technologies.
- Exceptional Client-facing skills, with the ability to confidently interact and present to Clients and internal Creative ITC stakeholders.
- Must have a pragmatic, highly organised and methodical approach, with the ability to adapt to complex situations.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English language.
Desired Requirements:
- PMP/MSP Certifications
- ITIL Certified
KEY JOB ELEMENTS - Responsibilities and Accountabilities
As a Project Manager at Creative ITC, you will be aligned with multiple clients and internal projects, focused on delivering both on-premises and as-a-service solutions globally. Key responsibilities are as follows -
- Ensure a high level of governance and structure across the project's lifecycle.
- Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of internal/external communication regarding project activity/progress.
- Work closely with the Sales, Pre-Sales, and client Engagement teams to understand the proposed solution and the Client's short—to long-term objectives.
- Plan against the defined scope, budget, schedule, and resources to ensure successful delivery. In addition, identifying any upfront risk and providing considerations for management or mitigation are factored in.
- Project management of the aligned technical resource, delivery schedule and profit/loss budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage third-party vendors to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and services.
- Ensuring projects are correctly tracked, remain in scope, and reported externally to the Client and internally to Creative ITC, The Client stakeholder team and senior management.
- Identify, manage and mitigate risk. Ensuring all risks are tracked and reviewed throughout the project.
- Ensuring all operational and technical requirements are fulfilled for the successful transition from project delivery to BAU support where appropriate.
- As and when necessary, any other duties are requested to ensure successful project delivery.
