Job Title: Funding Specialist

Location: Manchester, hybrid working

My client is an established SME Fintech Lender based in South Manchester. After 12 years of trading in the market, they have a excellent reputation across both Unsecured & Secured lending market making them a one stop shop for business finance ( The deal size sits from £25k- £750k)

Being a Fintech, they have a 24 hour turnaround commitment & an automated online quote on unsecured deals making it easy & convenient for both Direct customers and brokers to introduce deals.

After a £100M investment in Q2 this year, they are entering a huge growth phase focused on building out broker branding with the aim of tripling the size of the lending book in next 6 months.

This is a brilliant time to join the company & have direct impact in the company’s growth. This role offers competitive renumeration alongside good progression opportunities due to flat hierarchy in the business.

About the Funding Specialist role

• You will be responsible for working with a panel of commercial brokers with the aim of building long lasting relationships & increasing deal flow to increase the lending book.
• Increase the brand across the market ensuring my client is at the forefront of brokers minds for all business lending
• Educate brokers on the lending appetite across secured & unsecured
• Work with Brokers on the introduction process to make it streamlined & attractive for them to introduce deals
• Network across UK to bring on new brokers to the panel

Previous Experience

• Commercial finance experience – unsecured / secured business lending
• Previous experience working with direct SME customers or Brokers
• Basic credit understanding of requirements for a strong deal
• Hungry, motivated individual with desire to work for fast growth company
• Enjoys networking & building relationships
