Cycle Counter

Role Overview: Reporting to the Production Supervisor the successful candidate will have particular emphasis on stock accuracy and subsequent investigations. The successful candidate will be based at our Tallington site.

Key Accountabilities:

· To carry out cycle counts as instructed by line manager

· Ensuring all inventory stocks, raw materials, WiP and finished goods are accurate.

· To book completed counts into system following investigation and approvals.

· To assist in ensuring progression of works order completion / RN documents and accuracy.

· Attention to all H&S issues.

· To provide cover and work within the following areas as required and as instructed by line manager in areas below:

1. Finished Goods Yard,

2. Raw Materials

3. Shop floor and Packaging

4. Demoulding

5. Dispatch

6. GRN processes

Associated Responsibilities:

· Work closely with Team Leaders

· Ensure all job bookings are accurate.

· Resolve any stock accuracies.

· Support plants annual stock take.

Key Performance Indicators:

· Targeted cycle counts are completed in a timely manner.

· All materials, WiP and finished goods correctly maintained.

· Ensure all operator job bookings are correct.

Experience and Training:

· High level proficiency in all Microsoft packages

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Previous experience with goods inwards and dispatch.

· Knowledge and understanding of the Cycle counting process.

· In-date FLT license is desirable.

Essential Criteria:

· Previous experience in an Operations environment.

· Knowledge and previous experience with ERP / MRP systems

· Previous experience of stock control.
