We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a
Veterinary Receptionist at
Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital.
Location: Lisburn
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 20 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday with a 1:5 share in the Saturday rota. You will be working 4 evenings per week, but the flexibility to cover different shift patterns for annual leave and absences is needed.

About The Role
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What We're Looking For In Our Veterinary Receptionist
- Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
