DS Living is a sales agency, working with manufacturers and importers to fast track and accelerate their growth in to online D2C sales. Working with national retailers from across the country, our team make the integration of online sales a seamless and smooth process. We offer our partners services in sales, customer service, finance and logistics, making us an easy choice when choosing business growth.
Now in our 3rd year of operation, the business has gone from strength to strength, with our small team expanding to 4 team members and 3 directors. We are planning to move to a new office in early 2025. Double digit percentage growth is firmly in our DNA as we continue to grow accounts with leading manufacturers and retailers in home and furniture from across the country.
About this role
Marketplace Management: Oversee e-commerce operations, including product updates, promotions, merchandising and customer service, ensuring smooth day to day operations.
Merchandising Strategy: Develop strategies to ensure our sites are well merchandised, with fresh and engaging content that promotes our customers products and drives sales conversions
Digital Marketing: Optimise the use of marketplace digital marketing tools, including copy and metadata optimisations to maximise traffic from search engines
Promotional Planning: Plan and execute a promotional calendar aligned with key sales periods, identifying core areas of growth
Operations Coordination: Liaise with various external business partners to optimize the consumer experience, including order management and returns
Performance Reporting: Provide detailed marketplace performance reports, highlighting key metrics and growth opportunities
Budget Management: Develop and manage plans to achieve growth targets set by the business.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Marketplace Manager with expertise in direct-to-consumer e-commerce channels and marketplaces. Your experience should include proficiency with administrative tools and digital sales drivers on platforms such as Amazon, eBay and/or others. A demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting and content management is important.
Strong commercial acumen is crucial, ideally with experience in promotional plan management and optimisation. Your skillset will drive strategic business decisions, helping to grow and improve performance.
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently as keeping stakeholders up to date are important attributes. You should be curious and innovative, always seeking out new opportunities, managing changing priorities and showing consistent entrepreneurial spirit. Strong project management skills are essential to being successful in this role.

Role Details
Full time: From 25 hours to 37.5, depending on candidate requirements
Flexi time: Between 8am – 6pm
Annual leave: 23 days ( Bank Holidays)
Hybrid: 4 days office, 1 day from home
Salary: Up to £35k, depending on experience
Bonus: Up to 20%
