Design Team

The Design team is at the forefront of crafting and developing innovative product ranges that not only drive sales but also captivate our customers, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and circular design. Constantly exploring emerging trends in product design, consumer lifestyles, color forecasting, and new materials, our team sets the creative vision for each season, which is then woven into the strategies of various departments. We are a highly collaborative group of designers, united by our passion for creating cohesive collections that enhance every aspect of the home. With a deep appreciation for textiles, patterns, and color, this role supports the Design Manager within the Made to Measure fabric team, playing a pivotal part in shaping trends, brand direction, and the development of color, print, and fabric construction for custom window dressings.


What you'll be doing:

A varied and creative role, responsibilities will cover the following:

  • Work with the Design Manager to create product and trend direction for future seasons and contribute to wider seasonal trend packs.
  • Work alongside our commercial teams and suppliers, helping gather and organise swatches, samples, and artworks throughout the season.
  • Help with creative administration such as pulling together trend and briefing packs, collating notes and contacting suppliers regularly for follow up.
  • Keep up to date with competition and conduct thorough inspirational research.
  • Create print, pattern, and recolouring work for various textile ranges throughout the season.
  • Develop a curated range of high-quality coordinating fabric trimmings.
  • Create detailed briefs / specifications working closely with suppliers and factories.
  • Travel within the UK and Europe for supplier / store visits and inspirational shopping trips


What we'll look for in you:

  • A creative eye with a real passion for fabric design and homewares.
  • An exciting portfolio demonstrating curated research, creative colour sense, original print and pattern work and a knowledge of fabric construction.
  • Able to work independently and take own initiative.
  • Constantly innovating and drive forward the product offer.
  • Highly organised, with clear ability to be able to prioritise workload.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Working to tight timelines.
  • Curiosity and willing to listen and learn.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Microsoft toolset (Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
