Job Summary:

Mondays, Tuesdays & fridays. 5 hours per day 10am-3pm

We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings such as supported accommodation, hospice care, dementia care, and senior care.

Responsibilities:

• Resident Support: Provide one-on-one support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, healthcare coordination, and accessing community resources.
• Personalized Support Plans: Collaborate with residents to create and implement individualized support plans tailored to their needs, goals, and preferences.
• health and wellness: Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure residents receive necessary medical care, and facilitate mental health and wellness programs

Experience: Previous experience in supported housing, social work, or a related field is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships with residents
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving and crisis management skills

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
