We are recruiting an experienced assistant general manager, you will be supporting our General Manager with the day-to -day running of our busy city centre restaurant. Your Role & Responsibilities (not limited to):
To assist in the running of the business with the passion as though it was your own business & take control in the absence of the general manager
Leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain Howies high standards.
Controlling costs & attempting to increase turnover at all times
Day to day runnings of business opening, closing, cash handling, accounts management
Managing costs & controlling wet/food GP margins Applicants must have: 2 years experience in a similar assistant manager role Hold good knowledge of drinks; including wine, spirits, cocktails, & a license holder. Knowledge about menus, seasonality, including allergens, food safety Great leadership skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a social environment.
