Reporting to the Factory Section Leader / Manufacturing Manager.
The primary role of a Skilled Factory Operative is to undertake routine production tasks including but not limited to assembly activities, material preparation activities and equipment installation. This predominately breaks down to cutting timber or metal wall panel, roof cassette and associated project kits, and assembling them ready for dispatch in our static factory facilities. Are you? Experienced in carpentry or from a trade background Positive, self-motivated and able to work effectively without close supervision Able to drive and work the hours of 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday, with no overtime Able to work CIS
Do you? Have an NVQ 2 in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent qualification Have the ability to work as part of a multi-functional team, respecting alternative professional skills and opinions Have excellent communication skills Do you have your own tools i.e Hammer, soft mallet, nail bars, hand screwdrivers, socket sets, squares, builders' squares, chisels (rough and good) / general hand tooling
