We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care Mental Health department in Southwark. This Grade 10 position plays a crucial role in both planned and unplanned Care Act assessments and reviews, ensuring adults remain as independent as possible.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Care Act assessments and reviews, both planned and unplanned.
Assess clients at risk and implement adaptations and interventions to reduce risk and promote independence.
Provide interventions aimed at increasing an adults functioning.
Utilize a strengths-based approach in support planning.
Requirements
Proven experience in Mental Health Occupational Therapy.
Strong understanding of the Care Act and its applications.
Ability to assess and manage risks effectively.
Commitment to promoting independence and using a strengths-based approach in all interventions.
