Class 1 Driver

We are currently looking a skilled and motivated Class 1 Driver to join our client in Manchester.

This role involves general haulage, tramping, and depot deliveries and collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
• Perform tramping duties with overnight stays as required.
• Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
  
  

Pay Rates PAYE (inc. Holiday Pay)

• £17.37/h days
• £18.49/h nights
• £19.05/h Saturday
• £21.29/h Sunday
• £25 - overnight allowance for tramping duties
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
• Experience in general haulage and tramping.
• A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
