Are you a Design Manager from a Glazing background looking for a leadership role where you will be responsible for bespoke glazing and Cladding projects and have a direct impact on a successful and well-established specialist company who offer the opportunity to work from home and a generous salary package?

This company are one of the leading specialist contractors in the installation of commercial glazing systems and various cladding solutions. They work closely with a range of clients and particularly in the commercial sector. They have been established for 2 decades and due to an ever-increasing workload, they are looking to grow their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of bespoke design drawings for some of the most architecturally advanced buildings in the construction sector. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, you will guide and support the Design, Production, and Project Management teams through the design, production, and installation phases of each project.

This role would suit a Designer Manager from a Glazing or Glading background looking to join a growing specialist company and enjoy the chance to manage their own team.

The Role

• Oversee and manage the Design of projects allocated, on time and budget
• Mange the design process, directing the design teams in our Indian office (Mumbai) to ensure program is completed
• Liaise with the estimating & commercial departments
• Involved in project from tender through to completion
• Develop a good rapport with Clients, Site Management, and installation teams
• Monday-Friday days-based role, 45 hours a week, flexible working hours.
• May be required to work additional hours if required by the needs of the business
  
  

The Person

• Able to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in producing 2D drawings using AutoCAD
• A detailed understanding of knowledge of current construction techniques
• Glazing / Cladding background
• Has experience managing their own team
