Job Posting for Engineering Coordinator at Energy Jobline
We are seeking an Engineering Coordinator to join our client’s operations team, playing a key role in supporting the Engineering Manager and project management office.
This temporary 8–12-week role, based in Hartlepool, involves coordinating the flow of goods and services, providing essential administrative and operational support.
You will oversee the purchasing process, ensuring orders are managed effectively and delivered on time. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and the procurement function, ensuring everything from stock availability to supplier accounts is handled smoothly.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Tracking and managing orders, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any delays
Collaborating with internal teams to provide updates on stock levels and delivery schedules
Managing administrative tasks, including maintaining Oracle and Q-Pulse systems
Assisting the procurement team by sourcing suppliers and placing orders for non-production materials
Coordinating with finance to create or update supplier accounts
Handling supplier-related issues by raising and managing non-conformances (SNCRs) in Q-Pulse
Maintaining contract records and providing general administrative support
You Will Need
Strong experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle
Excellent communication and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and prioritise tasks effectively
