Mechanical Fitter Required Nottingham - Start ASAP Proactive are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitter to work for a manufacturing company based in Nottingham (Bulwell Area NG6) Your daily duties will include: Assembly and fitting of specialist machinery Manufacturing small components Assembly of components Cutting, shaping, drilling, tapping etc. Working to in-house designs, drawings and quality requirementsTo be considered for this role you will need the following skills/experience: Previous mechanical fitting experience preferably working on/building machinery Good verbal and written communication skillsThe ideal candidate will: Mechanical engineering background or similar Hands on experience in mechanical fitting Experience of using hand and power tools and workshop machinery Ability to understand & interpret engineering drawings Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team Good Attention to detail Good understanding of general health and safetyMore about the role: Hours: Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.00pm Start date: ASAP following interview process Rate - £13-16 per hour Dan Charters Proactive Global is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
