Job Description
Job Title: Network Architect
Location: Hybrid (Crawley, UK)
Contract Rate: £600/day
Assignment Duration: 4 Months
Special Working Conditions
May need to travel to customer Crawley office once or twice a week. May need to support doing out of UK support hours to help in VPN migration activities
Role Overview
As a Network Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust network architectures to support critical business functions. This role involves working closely with management to present network strategies and ensuring the smooth execution of network implementations. You will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies, particularly in Azure cloud environments, while contributing to high-impact projects within the customer’s industry.
Key Responsibilities
Design and plan data communication networks with a focus on scalability and security.
Present network architecture plans to senior management and stakeholders.
Oversee the end-to-end network implementation process.
Manage and maintain network and information security, ensuring compliance with best practices.
Implement necessary upgrades to hardware and software systems.
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on network equipment.
Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including drawings, descriptions, and configurations.
Key Skills/Experience
Expertise in configuring and managing site-to-site VPN connections and Azure network security, including NSGs, Azure firewalls, and routing.
Strong proficiency in designing network architectures, including Virtual WAN, VNets, and related Azure services.
In-depth knowledge of network security principles within Azure cloud environments.
Experience with Prisma Palo Alto to Azure VPN migration is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Network Engineer Associate are a plus.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across functions.
Willingness to travel to the Crawley office once or twice a week and provide out-of-hours support for VPN migration activities as needed.
