Production Supervisor

A market leading company based in Bootle is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor/Team Leader to join their growing company.

Part of global group my client specialise in the manufacture and supply of award winning composite doors and fire doors for commercial and residential markets. The company is going from strength to strength with exciting growth plans for their UK site.

As a result of this they are growing their CNC/Machining teams, and are seeking a Production Supervisor/Team Leader to lead their new afternoon shift..

Your Role Will Involve

• Ensuring all product are made to specification
• Driving KPIs and Accountability for the team
• Leading and promoting better working practises and improvements.
• Quality Assurance / Control
• Responsible for Training and Deveopment of the team
• Focusing on producing a quality product, in line with the production planning schedule whilst ensuring targets are met
• Working hands on with the machines if there is a staff shortage for any reason
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Experience

• Team Supervision experience a necessity
• CNC Machining Experience
• Wood, Composite, Injection Moulding, furniture experience would be useful
• Other machine knowledge such as band saws would be beneficial
• Enthusiasm to help improve production processes
• Good communication skills
  
  

This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, but will be allocated to an afternoon shift of 14.00 - 22.00 once training is complete. You will be offered a good salary and package as well as the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company
