Rail Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our client in Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer and ideally come from the Rail industry or similar.

Key Responsibilities

Be the technical link between all departments including Design, Sales and Installations to manage and deliver multiple design lead projects from cradle to grave

Liaise with suppliers and the design department to feedback customer requirements and ensure the right components and products are sourced

Attend client sites across the UK and globally where necessary to undertake site surveys and ensure installations are completed correctly.

Liaise with clients and customers to ensure projects are delivered correctly, to budget and on time

Key Attributes

Rail industry essential but ideally Rolling Stock/ Carriages/ Rail Vehicle background

5 years' experience

Knowledge of CAD Design to lead design based projects
