The role?

An exciting new role has arisen for a Quality Improvement Manager to join the QHSE team here at EnerMech in Aberdeen.

The role will be accountable for reinvigorating our QMS, providing the structure and resources to manage EnerMech Quality Standards and enterprise documentation and to drive our business performance into the future. This position will report to the Regional Director, driving quality improvements, reduced NPT, reduced quality incidents, improving customer satisfaction and improved margins across the business. Other main duties will include but not limited to;

  • Managing the attainment of industry specific and business best practice certifications in line with business operations and strategy including the development and maintenance of the company accreditations and certifications, including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001
  • Liaise with external assessment bodies on all matters relating to the certification & accreditation process
  • Control and carry out auditing functions within the organisation. Maintain the company internal audit schedule to identify and resolve opportunities for improvement
  • Initiate, and take ownership of, business improvement projects
  • Have oversight, ownership and conduct periodic management reviews of the quality management system to ensure the quality systems remain suitable and effective


You are?

To be successful for this position you will hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, Management, or related field from an accredited University (or diploma/certificate with relevant work experience) alongside 3-8 years experience in a Quality functional role.

You will have strong knowledge of project management, quality assurance and quality control processes and philosophies and experience of working within an ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 certified engineering organisation.

You will also have proven experience in the development of management systems across various industry sectors and five years minimum QA auditing experience. You will be an ISO9001 Internal Auditor.

You will hold excellent interpersonal & leadership skills and have the ability to influence & to communicate ideas in a collaborative & professional manner. A proven ability to execute and achieve impactful results in the organization would be of a great advantage.
