Salary:- From £11.44-£13.00 an hour

Job Description :-

Excell Supply are seeking nursery practitioners, who can fit in with an energetic, fun and dedicated team. You will have a Level 2 qualification and relevant experience in a childcare setting and you will need to hold a valid Child Workforce DBS, or be willing to process one through Excell Supply.

Responsibilities:-

• Protect and promote the health and well-being of children.
• Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Promote positive relationships in the early years setting.
• Support children’s learning and development through play
• Be a ‘key person’ to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families.
• Monitor children’s progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets
• Plan and create activities which keep children engaged throughout the day.
• Enable children to become more independent.
• Help prepare children for the transition into school life.
  
  

Requirements:-

• Hold Teaching Assistant Level 1, 2, qualifications.
• Be an excellent and inspirational practitioner, with young children children's well-being at the forefront of all actions.
• Possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Demonstrate transferrable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, remaining calm under pressure, caring, and helpfulness.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be obtained through Excell Supply if necessary).
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, or eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
