## Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of SEND to join our team. As the Head of SEND, you will be responsible for overseeing the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision within our organisation.
## Duties
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEND
- Lead and manage a team of SEND staff
- Ensure compliance with SEND regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide tailored support for students with SEND
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND provision
- Provide training and support to staff to enhance their ability to educate students with SEND
## Experience
- Essential: Previous experience working in a SEND role
- Essential: Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices
- Nice-to-have: Experience in educating students with diverse needs
