Job title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Norwich - 3 days a week on site
Day Rate: £450 inside IR35
Contract length: 6 months
Project length: Estimated finish 2025/2026
The Company
An international Main Contractor with an established household name - we’re proud to continue supporting a key player within UK infrastructure. They have a multi-billion orderbook for the next decade across water, highways, construction and rail.
Always offering development and the chance to work with exceptional colleagues, their reputation for delivering the biggest projects makes them a no-brainer to work for.
Your Role
As a Quantity Surveyor for a Main Contractor, this role is centred around procuring subcontractor packages, and managing sub-contractors effectively in an NEC (Option C) contract setting.
Working on the A47 Upgrade, this is a central link road for Norwich and East Anglia to provide travel links from Cambridge, London and the South of England as a whole.
The plans in the coming decade are immense for East Anglia - the rate of huge new infrastructure projects is growing faster by the day.
As the central highway into the region, it’s the only way to provide development to offshore wind farms, a new tidal barge to link Norwich and Leicestershire, a new reservoir, re-develop hospital buildings with collapsing roofs - need I say more?
Your Experience
We are keen to hear from Quantity Surveyor’s within infrastructure be that water, highways, rail or general civils. This is a heavy ‘subcontractor management’ role in an NEC contract setting.
If you’re looking to enter a Quantity Surveyor contract role for the first time, or want to gain Main Contractor experience, then this is the perfect opportunity to take the first step with the support and guidance of a Commercial Specialist within infrastructure.
