gap personnel Exeter are recruiting for 2 Electrical Fitter on a temporary basis for our client based at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, Devon.

You will be joining a leading company that provides Engineering Services to the Defence, Security, Nuclear and Emergency Servies.

As an Electrical Fitter you will join the team that is at the forefront of supporting the Royal Navy fleet, ensuring the Dockyard is running as it should be. You will manage isolation of a variety of electrical equipment that could include distribution, command, and control systems, such as weapons, navigation, and communications.

You will work to electrical/engineering drawing and technical specifications as you isolate and make safe a variety of electrical systems for production to maintain, repair & overhaul.

About You

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available immediately.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Level 3 Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• College LV3 qualifications in electrics.
• Electrical installation/maintenance experience (preferably with experience of RN platforms).
  
  

Pay & Hours

• £18.70ph-£19.67, paid weekly
• Monday to Thursday (0730am – 1530pm) & Friday 0730am – 1230pm, 35hours per week.
