Investment Accountant

Investment Accountant - 6-8 months - £350-450/day umbrella

I’ve partnered with an exciting investment manager to bring on a contractor into the investment accounting team to cover a gap that has arisen. The business are hugely dynamic, with a diversified portfolio and a unique approach to their investments.

This role will afford you broad exposure to different areas of the business, including having greater exposure to the deals and investments. While involved with the fund operations, you will also be responsible for the general accounting for the investments, as well as opportunity to get involved in the corporate accounting as well.

Broad strokes of the role:

• Fund administration – liaising with the fund managers, processing call and distribution notices, fund valuation notices
• Investment accounting & reporting – reconciliation of calls, distributions & fund investments, general month end duties
• Assisting with year end – liaising with auditors, preparing financial statements for the investment entities
• Corporate accounting – for 2 overseas subsidiaries

Your profile:

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Audit trained with exposure to FS clients OR
• 1-2 years experience with fund accounting/fund administration
• Keen interest in investment management and eagerness to develop in this space
