The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative finance, data analysis, and algorithmic trading. This role is critical in developing and refining trading strategies, conducting statistical research, and analysing large datasets to generate actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and implement quantitative trading strategies using advanced statistical methods and help translate algorithms into code.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential opportunities in financial markets.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and other quantitative researchers to optimize existing models and strategies.
  • Apply machine learning techniques to improve prediction models and enhance trading performance.
  • Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of trading strategies, adjusting models as needed.
  • Present research findings and insights to the investment team, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Use unconventional data sources to drive innovation.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or a master’s degree and 1 years of experience in quantitative research within an investment bank, hedge fund, or similar environment.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or C .
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, econometrics, and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with financial data analysis and familiarity with trading platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-impact results.
