Ground Control are on a mission to help the UK become Carbon Neutral by 2050 and are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our eMobility Infrastructure Team.

Our Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Team is growing and requires a proven site manager to help run our national construction projects, focussing on setting up the site, initial groundworks and managing health and safety.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for experienced Site managers and Project managers who have experience in managing groundworks construction sites. Working in EV infrastructure would be helpful but is not essential for this role.

You will;

  • Play a pivotal role in delivering EV vehicle infrastructure with both commercial and residential clients.
  • Issue on-site permits before projects commence.
  • Form CPP for client sign-off prior to project start date.
  • Ensure reports and documentation are completed and submitted through internal systems
  • Authorise additional works where required
  • Manage and take ownership of the quality of installations
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure all Health & Safety requirements are being met
  • Travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays

The person

The successful candidate will be required to travel across a region from London up to the Midlands, in order to play a vital role enabling the installation of eMobility Infrastructure, ensuring that all works are delivered to client specification, on time and within budget.

You will need the following;

  • A valid clean EU/UK driving license
  • CSCS Card
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate and train others
  • A strong focus on maintaining the highest quality standards
  • A strong focus on health and safety with a track record of resolving potential issues
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
