1:1 Tutor

Pay Scale: £25 - £30 Per Hour

Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate 1:1 Tutor to support students in Sheffield. If you have experience supporting young people and are looking for a rewarding opportunity as a Tutor, to make a real difference, this role is for you!

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering personalized tuition to students and helping them to achieve their academic goals. This role requires working closely with students, understanding their individual needs and creating tailored learning plans that align with their curriculum.

Key Responsibilities of 1:1 Tutor:

• Provide tailored support to individual students in a 1:1 Tutor capacity.
• Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on the student’s learning objectives.
• Work with students to develop their understanding of key subjects.
• Monitor and assess the student’s progress, making necessary adjustments to the tutoring approach.
• Offer guidance and encouragement to help students stay focused.
• Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment to build the student’s confidence and academic skills.
  
  

Essential Requirements of 1:1 Tutor:

• Proven experience in providing one-on-one tuition, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and ability to adapt teaching methods.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient approach.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
