Math Teacher-

• Location: Stockport
• Salary: £30000 - £41333 per annum
• Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Math to join a popular and high-achieving Secondary School in Stockport to start in September 2024 on a full-time, permanent contract.

As a Math teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), helping them develop their understanding of the subject.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and innovative Math lessons
• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote improvement
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and academic standards
  
  

Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
• Experience in teaching Math at Secondary level is desirable but not essential
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant teacher references from within the last 2 years
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
