The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in the construction industry. The candidate should be either qualified or part qualified or QBE.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial operations throughout the project, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Ensure that the project is completed within budget.
Work with contractors to ensure that they are paid on time and that their work is completed to a high standard.
Manage cash flow by ensuring funds are available.
Minimize financial risks associated with construction projects.
Provide the tools and resources needed for financial planning.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Required Skills
Strong financial analysis and communication skills.
Understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
Experience in the construction industry.
