Hays Senior Finance are working exclusively with a small, multi-faceted organisation based in the Stourbridge area as they look to recruit a new Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Your new role
In this varied and hands-on role, you will be responsible for supporting across a number of areas from overseeing transactional activities up to preparing accurate and timely management accounts.
Key Duties
- Oversee control of and assist with purchase ledger, sales ledger and cash management
- Month-end P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
- Budget and forecast preparation
- Control account reconciliations from multiple business/income streams
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
- Preparation of VAT/statutory returns and payments
- Payroll administration and P11ds
- Monthly intercompany recharges
What You'll Need To Succeed
- AAT qualified or QBE
- SME background with proven management accounts experience
- Comfortable being hands-on and willing to help out in all areas of finance
- Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Fully conversant with the operation of financial IT systems and accounting software (Sage in particular)
