Hays Senior Finance are working exclusively with a small, multi-faceted organisation based in the Stourbridge area as they look to recruit a new Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Your new role

In this varied and hands-on role, you will be responsible for supporting across a number of areas from overseeing transactional activities up to preparing accurate and timely management accounts.

Key Duties

• Oversee control of and assist with purchase ledger, sales ledger and cash management
• Month-end P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
• Budget and forecast preparation
• Control account reconciliations from multiple business/income streams
• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
• Preparation of VAT/statutory returns and payments
• Payroll administration and P11ds
• Monthly intercompany recharges
  
  

What You'll Need To Succeed

• AAT qualified or QBE
• SME background with proven management accounts experience
• Comfortable being hands-on and willing to help out in all areas of finance
• Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
• Fully conversant with the operation of financial IT systems and accounting software (Sage in particular)
