ERP Technology Manager - Southampton or Manchester - £65,000 - £75,000 (Multi Site Travel)

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Integration Strategy:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for integrating technology across various business aspects, including customer portals, robotics, and bar scanning.
• Ensure the strategy aligns with our overall goals and objectives.

ERP Implementation:

• Serve as a key member of the steering committee for the ERP system implementation to support our CRM (Salesforce) and other business processes.
• Streamline operations, improve data management, and provide better insights for decision-making.
• Model the integration of acquisitions data into our new ERP system.

Innovation and Research:

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to waste management.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and conduct feasibility research to assess their potential impact.

Business Process Optimization:

• Collaborate with various departments to identify inefficiencies and leverage technology to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Engage in business partnering by visiting sites, listening to needs, and translating them into real technology solutions.

Change Management:

• Facilitate change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Provide training and support to employees to help them adapt to new ways of working.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, being forward-thinking while respecting our history and identity.
• Establish processes for monitoring and evaluating the performance of technology initiatives, continuously seeking feedback and iterating on solutions.
• Manage projects effectively to ensure successful implementation.

Data Analysis and Insights:

• Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights from CRM and other systems.
• Use these insights to drive strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Provide facts and evidence through independent analysis.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of technology initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Influence and work with others even without direct team authority.

IT Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the IT team to push forward ideas and challenge the status quo.
• Take people along with you in the journey of technological advancement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in technology integration and ERP implementation.
• Strong understanding of CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
• Excellent project management and change management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
