Position Overview:

The Global Head of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and managing the global sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in international sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives and growth targets
    • Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments
    • Create and implement sales plans and budgets
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global sales team
    • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Revenue Growth:
    • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers
    • Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and monitor performance against targets
  • Market and Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats
    • Analyze and leverage data to make informed sales decisions
    • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies as needed
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnership:
    • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
    • Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive overall company strategy and growth
  • Sales Operations and Process Improvement:
    • Optimize sales processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
    • Implement best practices in sales management, reporting, and performance measurement
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • 10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role
    • Proven success in leading global sales teams and achieving revenue targets
    • Experience in [specific industry or market, if applicable]
